Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rust Blockchain Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technologies, specifically within the Ethereum ecosystem and zero-knowledge-proof technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing the core functionalities of the Telos EVM and its side chains, ensuring their performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing and enhancing the Telos EVM, our 2.0 architecture, which integrates Reth and a custom consensus client that serves as the bridge from the Telos network to the Reth client
• Build our L2 toolkit based on zkEVM and Telos’ scalable proof protocol for zero-knowledge scaling
• Develop and integrate zero-knowledge (ZK) based technologies to enhance privacy and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features and functionality
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and suggest improvements to the Telos platform
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering. Or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on blockchain technologies
• Proficient in Rust programming and experience with blockchain protocol development
• Deep understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) internals, including opcodes, processor architecture, RPC interfaces, and P2P/wire protocols
• Experience with Reth/revm, alloy, foundry or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with zero-knowledge proof technologies and their application in blockchain networks
• Solid experience in writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts in Solidity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
