Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are a hypergrowth B2B SaaS startup located in the Washington DC Area

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web development technologies, with a proven track record of building and deploying high-quality, highly performant, software applications. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our SaaS platform, using Python and Rust.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software applications using Python and Rust with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to ensure the successful delivery of software features and updates
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, with a focus on best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other collaborative activities to ensure the quality and consistency of our codebase
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and growth
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a proven track record of building and deploying high-quality software applications in Python and Rust
• Strong proficiency in Python, and Rust, with experience in modern web development frameworks and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience working on highly performant software made for high stakes use-cases like financial services and national security
