Your expertise in Rust and mathematical knowledge will be instrumental in crafting a high-performance application renowned for its advanced image editing and generation capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the backend of a web-based image editor using Rust, ensuring it meets the high-performance demands of generative AI technologies.
• Implement and integrate complex image processing algorithms, optimizing them for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless user experience integration.
• Utilize advanced mathematical models to enhance image processing operations and performance optimization.
• Guarantee application scalability and speed, focusing on algorithmic and structural enhancements.
• Lead automated testing development, ensuring functionality, performance, and security are up to par.
• Take initiative in collaborating with product and design teams, translating user needs into technical specifications, and driving the project forward.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in web technology and image processing, incorporating these innovations into our projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, showcasing a strong foundation in Rust and mathematical concepts relevant to image processing.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies and frameworks, coupled with a demonstrated background in image processing algorithms.
• Familiarity with cloud services, containerization, and a proven track record in developing scalable web applications.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with a penchant for taking ownership and leading initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Direct experience in developing image editing software or extensive experience with computer graphics and vector graphics in particular.
• Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
