Rated Labs Building reputation systems for machines requires deep knowledge of the networks and systems we cover. We need to dive deep into the consensus and execution layers of the various blockchains, understand their special characteristics, build models that reflect the state of the world and build pipelines to deliver that output to our clients and the broader community.
To that end, we are looking for a strong Software Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs.
At a high level, the person that would excel in this role might look like the following profile:
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience in building ETL data pipelines and indexers
- Some experience in a typed systems programming language such as Go or Rust.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, from code reviews to CI/CD
- Some experience in Infrastructure as Code systems such as Ansible or Terraform
- Some knowledge of Ethereum or other blockchain technologies, or at least very strong interest to learn
- Mission driven and intellectually curious
- Thrives in early stage environments
- Is based anywhere between CET-2 and CET+2
