Senior Fullstack Engineer

A fast-growing technology company is building a modern observability platform designed to help organizations process and understand large-scale operational data in real time. Its architecture enables high-performance analytics on logs, metrics, traces, and security events without relying on costly indexing or hot storage, helping teams improve reliability while reducing infrastructure costs.

About the Role

The team is looking for experienced full-stack engineers passionate about cloud-native systems and large-scale data processing. You will help design and build a seamless onboarding experience for a wide range of data ingestion integrations, including logs, metrics, traces, and profiling data.

You will also contribute to a fleet management initiative that provides customers with full visibility into their monitoring agents and simplifies configuration at scale.

This team owns both frontend and backend systems powering integrations and an extensions platform that allows users to deploy dashboards, alerts, parsing rules, and other configurations tied to their observability data.

AI-assisted development tools are used extensively across the engineering workflow, including design exploration, scaffolding, debugging, testing, and automation. You should be comfortable guiding AI outputs with clear specifications and validating results to production standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years building and operating backend systems in production
• 3+ years writing backend code in Rust or JVM languages
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or similar)
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows
• Strong engineering judgment to ensure correctness, security, performance, and maintainability
• Experience with Kubernetes

• Experience developing incident management products
• Experience with Angular
• Familiarity with gRPC and Protobuf
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (OTel)
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
