Senior Rust Developer - Backend

Eloe is building out a new credit card network from the ground up. We're an early stage startup and are looking to hire 3 - 5 additional highly qualified Rust developers to help build this out. We already have developers working on some of the more technical aspects of the back end and are looking to expand the team. These roles are fully remote.

We are looking for a broad spectrum of candidates to help fill in different gaps and needs. Ideally candidates will have experience with some of the following: designing microservices, fault tolerant / distributed systems, security, cryptography, caching, Kubernetes, and much more. We are looking for a range of experienced back end developers to build out much of our back end. We are not looking for blockchain developers. Eloe is a traditional fintech startup.

What might you work on?

• Designing microservices - Having an understanding of event-driven design and building fault-tolerant / distributed microservices
• Cryptography - Our transactions need to be secure, how can we guarantee communication from external sources?
• Caching - Speeding up responses where appropriate without compromising in our fraud detection and other services
• Auth and Fraud - Authenticating users and identifying bots, fraudulent users, and hacked credentials in real-time
• Database Administration - Identifying the best databases to use and how we can use them
• And much more!
