EVM Infra Startup Rust Systems Engineer
Location: London, UK (On-site)

A profitable, venture-backed crypto infrastructure company is hiring a Rust Systems Engineer to build ultra low latency, high throughput blockchain infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Optimise systems processing tens of thousands of transactions per block
- Work on microsecond-level latency components
- Improve sorting and simulation pipelines
- Profile, optimise, deploy and iterate
- Ship code that directly impacts production performance and P&L
Requirements
- Strong systems programming in Rust or C/C++ with willingness to switch
- Deep understanding of concurrency and lock-free structures
- Strong knowledge of CPU cache, memory layout and branch prediction
- Experience profiling and optimising performance critical systems
- Comfortable owning systems end-to-end
Nice to Have
- EVM or blockchain knowledge
- Networking optimisation such as kernel stack or XDP
- Auction systems or game theory experience
