Their platform serves millions of users worldwide and supports both retail and institutional use cases. The engineering organization places strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalable systems, with Rust playing a key role in their core infrastructure.
The Hong Kong team collaborates closely with engineering teams across Asia, Europe, and North America.
About the Role
As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will help design and build a next-generation cross-platform architecture powering performance-critical systems at global scale.
You will work on core services, frameworks, and infrastructure, contributing to architectural decisions and solving complex systems challenges.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop high-performance components in Rust
- Architect scalable backend and infrastructure systems
- Build reusable libraries and shared components
- Improve performance, reliability, and system observability
- Work on interoperability, FFI, and platform integration challenges
- Collaborate with distributed teams on architecture and design
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong production experience with Rust
- Solid systems programming fundamentals
- Experience working with high-performance or distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed data systems or networking
- Familiarity with WASM or low-level optimization
- Background in financial infrastructure or trading platforms
- Open source contributions
