We designed our technology to help you surpass the hardware limits of your phone, smartwatch, VR glasses, etc., and enable massive, super-fast applications. All your data and all the processing power everywhere on any device.

We founded our company in 2021 in Stockholm, Sweden.

We are looking to hire senior and junior Rust developers & network protocol software engineers to develop efficient low latency protocols for our real-time streaming technology. Our codebase is written in Rust & C++, so experience with one or both languages is essential. We use Rust to handle communication with the client and capturing and encoding of graphicly intensive data. If you enjoy working in a small team with cutting-edge software, in-house developed consumer hardware prototypes, and real-time systems in Rust, we would love to welcome you to UX.

The below qualifications are a rough guide; if you have less experience but are interested in joining our team, please reach out regarding one of our junior roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Software design, planning, and coding of real-time IP-based network protocols
  • Design software architectures for real-time data transmission over wireless networks
  • Work with our product, client, and server development teams

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of low-level network coding experience with a passion for fast real-time systems
  • Bachelor’s degree, a computer science major, fluency in English
  • Proficient in C / C++ with operating system level programming
  • Proficient in Rust, at least one year of demonstrable experience more preferred
  • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6/TCP/UDP/RDP network protocols and Bluetooth/WiFi/4G/5G/UWB radios
  • Passionate about creating products and comfortable with changing environments as well as multiple overlapping projects
  • Excellent data structuring skills and strong knowledge of algorithms
