We are seeking a proficient Rust Engineer to join our client's team in developing and optimizing their Distributed Query Engine.
This role will require advanced skills in Rust and familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache DataFusion.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in building database engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize our Distributed Query Engine using Rust.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure robustness, performance, and scalability of the database system.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Leverage Apache DataFusion or similar data processing frameworks for distributed query processing.
Qualifications
- Multiple years of professional experience in Rust programming language.
- Proven experience in Apache DataFusion or in building core database engines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, query engines and database systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
