Rust Software Engineer - Trading Systems

We are a VC-funded start-up based in London specializing in trading infrastructure development and services within the DeFi sector. Our mission is to foster an open, transparent financial system through our contributions to the Ethereum blockchain and beyond. The common traits we look for in candidates, regardless of experience:

• Completed a STEM degree from a top university
• Worked at the top of your profession (e.g. Goldman Sachs/Morgan Stanley for finance, Citadel/Jump for trading, etc.)
• Experience as a start-up founder or very early stage employee
• Deep technical domain expertise with low-level / distributed systems / low-latency programming

Responsibilities:

• Enhance our low-latency trading infrastructure
• Optimize core engine performance and network infrastructure
• Develop new features focused on transaction efficiency and advanced trading systems

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• In production experience using Rust
• Worked on latency-sensitive systems / algorithms / multi-threaded code / scalable distributed systems
• Understanding of the transaction supply chain / proposer-builder separation (PBS)
• Knowledge of Ethereum/EVM and blockchain fundamentals

Experience working in (whether professionally or as a side project) and having a passion for Crypto/Blockchain/MEV is a plus, but not a must have.
