Are you a talented engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Mid-Level Scala/Rust Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience, passionate about functional programming, and eager to explore or deepen their skills in Rust. You'll work on exciting projects that require both Scala and Rust, with exposure to cutting-edge tools and technologies such as Kafka, Typelevel, and ZIO.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance systems using Scala and Rust.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
- Contribute to the development of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Work with technologies like Kafka, Typelevel, ZIO, and others to solve complex problems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.
- Explore and experiment with Rust, contributing to both professional and personal projects.
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of professional experience in software development with Scala.
- A strong interest in or hands-on experience with Rust (personal projects or professional exposure).
- Familiarity with tools like Kafka, Typelevel, or ZIO.
- Solid understanding of functional programming principles.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures is a plus.
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable working remotely in European time zones.
